William H. POPE, age 68 died of a heart attack Thursday, Nov 15, at the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Mrs. Pope moved to the Danville community from the Russellville community about 25 years ago. He was a member of the Pittsboro Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted at Baker Funeral Home on Sunday. Burial in South Cemetery, Danville. Survivors are the widow, two daughters, Dorothy at home; Mrs. Myron Banta, Waveland and one son, Charles of Danville, 3 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Fulton McCutchan of Judson and Mrs. Mellie McKibben of Arthur, Illinois. A son preceded him in death 15 years ago. - - kbz
